What I learned
What I learned about motion is that it’s important to understand the movement of objects and how they move through artwork. Motion can be created with objects, shapes, or lines to show the movement effect. I also learn that it is important for motion to flow smoothly and should not seem abrupt or off.
Static Motion Techniques
The static motion technique that is used is the start-with-motion technique. The message that I was trying to convey is that the horserider is about to cross the finish line. Since the horse and rider are already in a moving position, the result of my message was successful. The horse and horse rider created motion since it is already in motion.
Motion Animation
The motion animation technique I used is a frame from layers. The motion that I wanted to animate is ax throwing. I wanted the ax to glow which allows the viewer to closely watch the ax move towards the target. I also used a darker background to make the glowing axes more eye appealing which made the animation better.
